General Goals :
You will learn the structural foundations of the Argentine tango figures, rhythms & navegation skills. We will analyse and revisit the technical concepts to make the dance functional and alive.
In our classes, the practice and exploration of tango steps gradually increase in complexity, progressing from simple concepts to more advanced material.

Paid in advance via the website or by bank transfer.
4 weeks (monthly payment) in January 2026 = £48 (£12 pp per class)
Single Class paid 48hs in advance (online) = £15 pp
Paid by cash or online on the day
Single Class/ drop-in or online: £18 pp

The price of £12 per class applies only for 4 weeks or more ( for example, a monthly payment of 4 weeks: Total £48.
If a month has 5 weeks the total price is £60)
3 weeks or less: are £15 pp per class.
Single classes paid in advance £15 pp per class.

No previous experience or partner is needed but recommended. Bring your friends!
To start, we recommend leaders wear a dress shoe or shoe without a rubber sole. For followers, we recommend a comfortable (short) heel, or a pair of flats. In our classes everyone is welcome to explore either side of the dance.

TRIAL PASSES
If you haven't been taking classes at our School before and would like to try our classes we offer a trial pass -for our weekly classes on Wednesdays.
Single pass: £10
If after your Trial you decide to continue with your weekly classes, this amount will be deducted from the rest of the monthly payment. These trials are offered at the beginning of each month.

In our classes, everyone is welcome to explore either side of the dance, as leaders or followers.
Please bring comfortable clothes and tango shoes. Or any dance trainers.
Expect the usual warm welcome and good music!
If you come by train Raynes Park's train station is a mere 8-minute walk away.
By bus Buses from Wimbledon are 131, 57, 200.
By car Limited parking is available in marked pay and display bays on nearby roads such as Richmond Road and Durham Road/ Spencer Road and Durham Road.
Important notes:
As a new student, we recommend starting with two initial private sessions. This allows us to assess your needs, teach you the fundamental Tango structures, provide you with personalised feedback, and guide you on which class to join, whether or not you have any previous dance experience.
* There are no start dates for these group classes during the duration of the year, and if you miss a few classes we will make sure you can still follow the progression of the classes.
Private classes are also recommended if you missed too many classes and would like to catch up with the rest of the group. Private classes are available in the evenings during the weekdays and afternoons at the weekends.

Waiver
You are responsible for your ability to participate in any of the LDA Tango programmes, including Tango Heart Events.
Please always listen to your own body's needs above that of any instructor in
our programmes.
By registering and participating in our programmes you are acknowledging that you are well enough to dance and practice Argentine Tango. Please seek your doctor's approval before beginning if this is in doubt.
By participating in this program you are accepting that neither LDA Tango ( Tango Heart organiser) or any of its related corporations or guest teachers shall not be liable for any injury or damages to you, or your property, or any other persons present during the classes or programmes.
TANGO Classes on Wednesdays Terms and conditions:
Classes run during school term time.
For Single Classes Pre-booking is not required, but it is recommeded as it allows us to plan the class with a balanced number of participants.
For Monthly payments pre-registration and booking is mandatory.
You can either book your places through Paypal by clicking the button above or if you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please send us an email to ldatango.london@gmail.com to make your bookings.
Cancellation Policy -
In order to offer you the best service, LDA Tango has to remain strict on the cancellation policy. We ask our clients to commit to us.
+If you book a single class please note that No refunds can be offered for cancellations made within 48 hours of your class or if you don’t attend. Cancellation of single classes made with 48 hours will receive a full credit towards a future class or course ( related to the booking) based on availability.
+If you book a monthly course and then miss a class of the 4 weeks course, we will make sure you can catch up with the rest of the group confidently and comfortably. Please note that if you missed a class we won't be able to refund or transfer your class to another date.
If I am unable to attend any Tango Class or if the Event has to be cancelled, I will endeavour to rearrange your ticket to the next event. If, however, a date cannot be found a full refund for that session will be made.
