Private classes are an excellent way to learn to dance Argentine Tango, either on your own or with a partner.
One-to-one lessons offer many benefits:

We offer private lessons for all levels, from beginners preparing to feel confident on the dance floor (including wedding dance preparation) to professional.
Private classes are ideal for dancers who want to build confidence, develop improvisation skills, address specific issues, or make rapid progress.
During your first class, Laura will assess your needs and tailor a personalised programme of lessons to support your ongoing development.

Laura is a fully qualified teacher and choreographer. She is available for Private classes both, in Central & South West London.
Classes in Central London are in Southwark area.
Classes in South West London are in Wimbledon and Raynes Park.

How to book your private classes
We offer three types of Private Tango Classes - Contact us for more information
Option 1: NEW Client Intro Pack ( 2 private classes = £140)
Private Class for Beginners (an individual or a couple) focusing on learning the 1st steps of the Tango Structure, dynamics and basic musicality.
Option 2: Private Class for experienced students who would like to review or master specific skills and Tango figures.
Option 3: Private Class for advanced dancers focusing on tools for improvisation, creativity, etc. Designed for advanced dancers who would like to integrate more self-expression into their dance or performance.
Private Tango Classes are held at The West Wimbledon Society Hall, in Raynes Park, South West London.

Mondays 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Tuesdays 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Fridays 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Saturdays 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Sundays 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Dates and times for your private classes will depend on the hall availability.
Previous confirmation with the hall is needed to confirm your slot.

Terms and conditions

Private classes must be paid in full to confirm the booking and non-refundable and not transferable. Single Private classes are valid for three months from the date of purchase.

New client Intro Pack offer, 2 hours private tuition is valid for 1 month only from the date of the purchase.

3 hours & 5 hours of private tuition are valid for 4 months from the date of the purchase

*These prices include the hiring of LDA Tango studios.

Pre-paid packages are valid for four months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable and not transferable from one person to another.
Cancellation Policy -
In order to offer you the best service, LDA Tango has to remain strict on the cancellation policy. We ask our clients to commit to us.
A minimum of 48 hours notice prior to the lesson commencement is required to re-schedule or cancel a lesson but please let us know as soon as possible if you are going to cancel. If you have booked a package of private classes, at least one week's notice is preferred.

Cancellation made with 48 hours will receive a full credit towards a future class based on availability.

Cancellation made with less than 48 hours will be charged at half of the price of the class.

Cancellation made 12 hours before the class commencing or failure to turn up for an appointment will be chargeable in full.
How to cancel: You can give us a call or send us a text message to cancel sessions. Please do not cancel by email unless it is at least 48 hours before the session.

You can re-schedule your class for any other date available within a month time from the date of the booking you had cancelled. You can re-schedule a class up to 2 times, after this, the full price of the lesson is payable.
If Laura is unable to attend any private session, I will endeavour to rearrange the session to your convenience. If, however, a date cannot be found a full refund for that session will be made.
