Hi, Welcome to LDA Tango School.

If you are an absolute beginner in Tango, we offer you a few options to start with your dancing experience.

Option 1:  Weekly Tango Classes on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm at the West Wimbledon Society Hall in Raynes Park.

For further information please click the button below.

Option 2:  At our School, we offer Beginner's Gradual Courses.  Which runs once a month on Sundays from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at The West Wimbledon Society Hall in Raynes Park.

The Beginners Gradual Course Information:

The Argentine Tango ABC Comprehensive Programme

Over the years of teaching this beautiful dance, I have organised this Introduction to Argentine Tango in a structured course of 8-10  classes.

The learning process, practice and exploration during the classes go gradually increasing challenges from very simple subjects and concepts to a more advanced one.

We run this course once a month on a Sunday afternoon at The West Wimbledon Society Hall in Raynes Park, South West London.

If you can not make all the dates, please do not worry!! We will make sure you can catch up with the rest of the group confidently.

No previous experience or partner is needed. Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes. Or any dance trainers.

If you would like to Book your place today and start learning the Tango in a structured course for Beginners and Improvers please click on the button below for more info and bookings.

Option 3: We also offer Private Lessons.

As a new student, we suggest that you start with 2 initial private sessions so we can assess your needs and guide you on which class to join, depending if you have any previous experience dancing or not.

Private classes are also recommended if you missed too many classes ( from when the classes started at the beginning of the year) and you would like to catch up with the rest of the Beginner and Improvers group.

These 1-1 sessions with Laura are ideal for those who want personalised attention and instruction, or who have specific goals they want to achieve, allowing you to enjoy the experience of learning to dance especially when you just started your Argentine Tango journey. Laura will help you master the techniques and the Tango styles you chose to learn to feel confident dancing with your dance partner from your first class.

Private classes are usually available at the weekends.

At our LDA Tango School, no matter which type of lesson you choose, you can be assured you will get the highest quality teaching, and a fun and enjoyable Tango dance experience.

"I have really enjoyed Laura’s inspiring tango classes this year (the Beginners Course).  Laura enthusiastically explains and demonstrates the techniques for beginners and improvers.  Questions are always valued and lead on to fuller explanations to help us learn.  It’s not just technique – Laura has also introduced us to the musicality of the dance".
