Beginners Information
Hi, Welcome to LDA Tango School
As a new student, we recommend starting with two initial private sessions. This allows us to assess your needs, teach you the fundamental Tango structures, provide you with personalised feedback, and guide you on which class to join, whether or not you have any previous dance experience.
After the 2 Initial private classes, you could join our weekly Beginners' group classes.
At our School, we offer :
Option 1: Weekly Beginners Group Classes
on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 7 pm at the West Wimbledon Society Hall, in SW20.
Please note: If you choose to begin group classes without taking the first two initial private sessions, we will do our best to help you catch up with the group.
Option 2: We also offer Private Lessons.
Single Class or Packages options:
One-to-one sessions with Laura are ideal for anyone seeking personalised attention, tailored instruction, or aiming to achieve specific goals and develop particular skills.
These classes are especially beneficial for beginners, as they help build a strong foundation with clear structure and a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Argentine Tango.
Private classes are also recommended if you missed too many classes ( from when the group classes started at the beginning of the year) and would like to catch up with the rest of the group.
Private classes are available in the evenings (weekdays) or afternoons, at weekends.
Important information:
Our classes and events run at The West Wimbledon Society Hall in Raynes Park, SW20.
If you have any enquiries about these classes, please send us an email at ldatango.london@gmail.com

"I have really enjoyed Laura’s inspiring tango classes this year (the Beginners Course). Laura enthusiastically explains and demonstrates the techniques for beginners and improvers. Questions are always valued and lead on to fuller explanations to help us learn. It’s not just technique – Laura has also introduced us to the musicality of the dance".
