Service Description

General Tango Class offers a structured 1 hour class, plus 2 hours dancing. Join our General Tango Class & build your skills step by step - enrol today! This event runs once a month on the last Sunday of each month, please note that dates may vary each month in the case of half terms or bank holidays. Always check our monthly schedule. Practicalities: When: 01/03/2026 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm General Class. Please arrive at least 5 min before the class starts for registration. 4: 00 pm to 6:00 pm Tea Dance Refreshments Included. General Tango Class Level: Open level Workshop Location: West Wimbledon Society Hall. Avenue Hall, 70 Richmond Road, Raynes Park, SW20 0PQ, London, UK. Prices: Class + 2 hours Dancing: £20 pp. paid at least 48hrs in advance or £25 pp if paid online on the day. Dancing time only: £10 per person (from 4 to 6pm) Class only: £10 ( for newcomers). Pre-booking is required. No bookings at the door. * Please note that the early bird is available until 48 hrs before the class commences. You can either book your places by clicking the button below or if you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please send us an email to ldatango.london@gmail.com to make your bookings. A few more details: 1) What shoes to wear? To start, we recommend leaders wear a dress shoe or shoe without a rubber sole. For followers, we recommend a comfortable (short) heel, or a pair of flats. 2) Do I need to have any dancing experience to join these classes? No, Absolute Beginners are welcome! If you come by train Raynes Park's trains station is a mere 8-minute walk away. By bus Buses from Wimbledon are 131, 57, 200. By car Limited parking is available in marked pay and display bays on nearby roads such as Richmond Road and Durham Road/ Spencer Road and Durham Road If you have any enquiries please do not hesitate to send us an email. Cancellation Policy

If you book a single class please note that No refunds can be offered for cancellations made within 48 hours of your class or if you don’t attend. Cancellation made with 48 hours will receive a full credit towards a future class or course ( related to the booking) based on availability. Please note that if you missed a class we won't be able to refund or transfer your class to another date.
